Breakthrough.  Glory Cloud.  Shekinah. Waves of Glory.  Overwhelmed.  These are just a few words that come to mind when I think back on this past Sunday.  I, along with our chorale and musicians (Vessels of Honor), began our Sunday as we do all Sunday’s.  We met at 11:30 a.m. for practice before our service.  We had a great practice and felt good about singing and worshipping God together.  I dismissed Vessels of Honor and asked for the Praise Team to stay for a few extra minutes to go over the songs we would be doing for the worship service.  That went well.  Then we were all dismissed and went to the prayer room about 12:30 for some time in prayer before Sunday School started at 1:00 p.m.  This was all normal procedure for a Sunday.  We all gathered in the sanctuary for Bible Class, the children went to their perspective classes.  My husband has been teaching on “Basic Pentecostal Doctrine” since the first of the year and it has been tremendous.  We started our class and the lesson this week was about the Church. About 3/4 of the way through you could feel the presence of God so strong.  Nathan would ask for us to just worship the Lord and it was amazing how his presence was so strong.  He would teach a little more and again, more worship.  At the end of the lesson he asked for us to stand to our feet and give God more praise.  Well, this is where I can’t explain what happened.  I just know from that point on we were enveloped in such an awesome presence of God.  We didn’t take our normal 10–15 minute break and then begin our worship service.  God had other plans.  When I finally looked at my watch it was 4:00 p.m.  Time really is suspended when you are in His presence.  I cannot begin to tell how many blessings were received and lives changed because of the Glory that filled the sanctuary that day.  This is where I am speechless.  All I know is that God visited us in such a special way and I am very thankful.
