Sunday was a first at The Pentecostal Church.  We had an all ladies day.  Well, the men, young people and children were there but the ladies did everything.  Christina Atkinson taught the adult Sunday School Class.  I must say, she did a superb job.  Patricia Hurst started the worship service with corporate prayer.  And, oh my!  She really ushered us into the presence of the Lord right from the beginning. Tina Evans and Natalie Johnson was our “ushers”.  They were so cute.  When the offering was to be received, they put on the ushers jackets. Everyone really got a kick out of that.  Danelle  Silveira led the praise and worship with an all ladies praise team to back her up.  I was in awe!  I know that the Lord was pleased with our praise as we sang for His glory.  Cassandra Silveira was our M.C. and once again I sat back and said, WOW! Tena Valenti spoke on “The Body of Christ” and did an incredible job.  She brought to remembrance, once again that we all have a special place in the Kingdom.  The chorale sang, and yes, the whole chorale, men included. 🙂  You guys are just awesome. Then, my mother-in-law, Dorothy Hurst spoke and did a great job. She mostly spoke to the young about living life so that you don’t have a lot of scars when you get older. She is full of such wisdom and gets her point across in a very unique fashion. 🙂  I then ended the service with a message on, “For Such is The Kingdom of Heaven”.  We had a super great time.  I was proud of our ladies today.  They all did such a great job in their different roles.  It was evident that prayer and fasting went into this service.  One of our Sunday School girls came very close to receiving the Holy Ghost.  It was a great day all the way around.  Next time, I will use different ladies, so if any of you are reading this, get ready. 🙂
